SMORES!

Back in August, I helped a good friend of mine plan a s'mores party! We had so much fun!!

The table was set up with 4 different cookies/ crackers. 5 different chocolates and 5 different marshmallows. The combinations were endless.

Mr. Fulmer came up with the idea for these indoor s'more pots. In June we went to a restaurant that we often set tents up for. After the meal hey brought us a complimentary s'mores platter. It had a hibachi in the center like you would find at a Chinese food restaurant with your poo-poo platter. We went home and googled them. It was about $20 for the cast iron hibachi alone, more for the platter and even more for the burning gel. So Mr.Fulmer took it upon himself to create these. It is a lawn tractor rim, with the center cut out. Then I bought some chaffing gel at a restaurant supply store and voila! Indoor fire pits!

Before the party, Courtney and I went to the farmers market to buy some flowers. We had enough to fill a few mason jars, but we wanted more for not a lot more $. So we stopped by a few ditches on the way back to her house. The back seat was full of beautiful wildflowers.

It was a great time had by all! After eating indoor s'mores and playing a round of balderdash. We headed outside for a real bonfire and hot dogs and more s'mores.
